All  of us struggle with areas of fat that we just can’t get rid of. For  some of us, even with a healthy diet and rigorous exercise we simply  can’t get rid of these stubborn pockets of fat. Many of these issues can  be genetic or linked to your physiology – meaning you will naturally  always have these pockets of fat.

Fatty  deposits can knock your confidence, and often we feel self-conscious  because of them. Although these areas have occurred naturally, there are  steps you can take towards the body and the shape you want. We  encourage a well-balanced diet and a daily exercise, but where this  doesn’t work you may want to consider Injection Lipolysis or Fat  Dissolving Injections. Injection lipolysis or Fat dissolving injections are a  revolutionary treatment that helps dissolve local fat. It has the  potential to remove stubborn and unflattering areas of fat without the  need for liposuction or surgery. Injection lipolysis works by  hydrolysing the wall of the fat cells and thereby making them release  the lipid content from within. The fat cell is broken down and removed  from the body via its natural processes

Injection  lipolysis is a flexible treatment and can be used almost anywhere on  the body. It is particularly popular in reducing the fatty deposits in  areas like the upper arms, under the chin and the hips.

Studies  have proven that injection lipolysis treatments, such as Pluyral Body  Countour, Face Contour, Aqualyx and Kybella cause splitting of fat cells  which subsequently leads to natural metabolism via the normal system in  the liver. The treatments are done every 3-4 weeks until desired result  is achieved. On average 3-5 sessions are required depending on the  volume of the fat deposit.

Skin  irregularities appearing on the thighs and hip lines are generally  called cellulite, but the structure is the same as other subcutaneous  fats. Therefore, it can be said that the unevenness of the skin can be  smoothed by injecting the drug into the area where cellulite is  worrisome by lipolytic injection and destroying and removing the fat  cells. • At first, the special formula that contains deoxycholic acid is  prepared and deposited into the problem area of the body. This is done  with the help of a small needle and cannula.
• The medicines used in the injectable work directly on the walls of  the fat cells and dissolve them through the method called ‘lysis’. As a  result, the fatty deposits get released from the cells.
• After that, the released fat is transferred to the liver by the  lymphatic system. It gets metabolized there and the unnecessary part is  excreted through urine.
• The number of sessions to be arranged depends upon the amount of  fat to be eliminated. We usually expect up to a 30% reduction in fat  with at least 3 treatments. Sessions should be spaced 3-4 weeks apart

The  area to be treated will be numbed with a topical anaesthetic and the  injectable contains an anaesthetic that makes the treatment a relatively  painless procedure with very little discomfort.

After  the treatment the area will often feel warm to touch and will begin to  swell. You may feel a slight feeling of tightness. There is no downtime,  but patients may experience swelling, bruising, pain, redness and feel  areas of hardness that typically soften with time. Fat reduction is  typically visible by eight weeks.

This  procedure has very little to no downtime post treatment. Most people  that have fat dissolving injections are able to go back to work  immediately or go about their usual business. You may want to take a day  off for convenience. After treatment we encourage our patients to drink  plenty of water to rehydrate and help metabolise the removal of fat.

Obviously,  this will depend from patient to patient – but most people will need at  least 3 sessions to see the results they are after. We recommend the  treatments to be spaced 3-4 weeks apart, which is usually how long the  swelling can persist.
